Gonna Be Sick
In this game, you can only beat levels when you have a certain number of debuffs/negative effects. Most effects will have a negative effect on you, while a few have positives but don't count towards the total. If you want to survive while also having enough effects to move forward, you have to combine these effects. The requirement increases each level, so you have to be faster and think harder each time. Every level has a time limit of 6 minutes. This likely will not make things any more difficult since the levels can always be completed in under that time, but you may need to reset it too many enemies die and you can't get enough effects.
In order, the amounts needed are 3, 4, and 6 effects. You will be reminded of this requirement at the exit door of each level. You will know if you have enough based on whether or not the door is open. If it isn't, you need to go back and get more effects. Your current effect counts are shown at the top of the screen, red being debuffs, green being buffs, and grey showing your total.

HELP
The game was made for the GMTK Game Jam 2026. As a result of the time limit of the jam, there may be quite a few bugs in the game. Please report any you find so they can be fixed after rating ends! Some known issues are:
- The web build might not load on certain devices.
- Getting the Miracle effect and then using it up will have it persist on the UI permanently, not disappearing at all.
- Blindness effect's fog doesn't obscure much likely due to the fog being rendered in 3D and the map being 2D.
- The mobile port may run at a low framerate.
- The volume settings do not work properly and apply to very few sounds in game.
Sorry about any issues you may encounter in-game.
